Welcome to Les Jincheres
This 17th century mill complex of renovated holiday cottages faces south over meadows towards woodland. Set in a hidden valley on the Deux Sevres/Vendee Border, Les Jincheres is the ideal place from which to discover this wonderful region. Restored by an architect, Les Jincheres has been renovated to a high standard retaining much of its original charm whilst providing comfortable accommodation. Les Jincheres is entered by its own private driveway and has over 2 acres of private grounds surrounding it making it an extremely peaceful and tranquil setting for those wanting to relax and unwind.
The Lake is stocked with Roach and Carp and is regularly visited by the Kingfisher. For the children there is a play area with table tennis table, a knockabout badminton / volley ball court, swing-ball, football net etc., and for the smaller children there is a sandpit and paddling pool.
The cottages are spacious and well equipped with fridge freezers, washing machines, microwaves, toasters etc., and each cottage has a sitting out / barbeque area. The surrounding countryside offers much to the wildlife enthusiast as well as fields of corn, sunflowers and the Parthenaise cattle being a breed of the region.
Just 5 minutes drive (3km) is our nearest town with supermarket and other amenities. Within an hour of Les Jincheres you will find the ATLANTIC COAST (La Rochelle being a favourite resort) FUTUROSCOPE, PUY DU FOU, PESCALIS (a major fishing area) GOLF COURSES AND MUCH MORE.
